They are perfect for a romantic getaway or even a small family trip, based on the same site as Tapnell Farm there are activities right next to you such as an aqua park, clay shooting and a restaurant (charges may apply for activities).

Your pod will be decorated in a beautiful, no-frills style, with timber framing and wooden floors and panelling to match. They have been designed to keep that cosy feel while maximising all of the space that is available. Each Pod has a comfy double bed, a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two, an open plan kitchenette and living area, and shower/toilet room.

The Tapnell Trail, a six-mile circular walking route that climbs up to the Downs, is ideal for people who wish to take in the scenery. These offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Remember, you’re never more than a stone’s throw from the coast on the Isle of Wight. For those who miss the city, Newport, the island’s county town, is only a 20-minute drive away.

Yarmouth town is located on the Isle of Wight’s northwestern coast and serves as one of the island’s principal gates, with one of the main ferry routes departing from its port.

The historic port town, which situated at the mouth of the River Yar, is home to some of the Isle of Wight’s oldest structures, including a 16th-century castle.

A road bridge crosses the river estuary on the way out of town, and Fort Victoria Country Park, a Victorian gun battery that today houses a number of local attractions, is a short distance away. It’s also located in a lovely country park with a forest nature trail and breathtaking views of the coastline, making it a great place to visit.
