Product Description

Tennyson Wing Cottage on the Isle of Wight is a wonderful two-bedroom cottage in a big country home with a lovely terrace and stunning views of the countryside and the sea. It’s also at a great location for exploring the island. This apartment, located on the first floor of a big separate property that has been expertly transformed to provide six units, has the finest of both coast and rural views.

The flat has been tastefully decorated, making it an appealing option for a small family. A delightful open-plan living area with a comfy sofa and chairs, a TV/DVD, and French doors leading to the patio is available. There’s also a dining room with views of the sea, as well as a fully furnished kitchen with an electric oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. There are two wonderful bedrooms in the property: one twin room with incredible sea views and a large bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. A separate bathroom with a bath, hand shower, and WC is also available.

Step out onto the terrace and unwind on the supplied garden furniture while admiring the wonderful view on the Isle of Wight and breathing in the fresh sea air. You can also access a nice garden area to the back of the house, which includes a shared lawn that is ideal for children to play on. To the side of the property, there is parking for two cars.

It is located above Alum Bay in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by beautiful walking trails. Head east to Freshwater Bay, Brook, and Brighstone, or west to The Needles, passing through Tennyson’s monument. Alum Bay’s beach is only a short walk away, where you can enjoy the famed coloured sands and boat rides. The sandy coves of Totland and Colwell Bay are also close by and offer excellent swimming, paddling, and fishing opportunities. Yarmouth’s harbour, with its wonderful restaurants and boutique shops, is also well worth a visit.

Dogs welcome for a small charge.
