Dorchester – Primrose Cottage
Primrose Cottage, which is about 200 years old and has been lovingly restored, is a stunning thatched beauty and can be found in the village of Moreton which is a village approximately 7 miles east of the county town
This charming Grade 2 listed cottage cleverly integrates modern furnishings with its age and legacy, making it an ideal base for visiting Dorset and the adjacent Jurassic Coast.
The cottage’s ground floor features a charming and inviting room with a sofa bed and a wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace.
There is a circular dining table and four chairs and a bright modern kitchen with Tassimo coffee machine.
The ground floor bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over and a wash basin, and a separate WC.
The one-room first floor features a huge bedroom with king-size bed and a cosy lounge space, which is accessed through the cottage stairs.
A secluded rear garden with patio and dining area with table and chairs is located behind the cottage, and a beautifully cultivated wildflower meadow with carved paths going to an apple tree and meandering around the property is located in front of the cottage.
Primrose Cottage is a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature, and a lovely place to relax and unwind.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge.
