The cottage has a bright and spacious feel downstairs is the kitchen with dining area a separate living room with floor to ceiling windows and bathroom with shower over the bath The kitchen door opens directly into a private walled courtyard providing the perfect spot to eat alfresco and also an entirely safe area for your dog if you are bringing one Upstairs the bedroom enjoys superb views across the garden to the coastline and beyond Sleeps 2 plus cot on request Beautiful and quiet location between Porlock and Porlock Weir Fabulous views of Porlock Bay and the West Somerset coastline Excellent base for walking Well equipped kitchen with direct access to enclosed courtyard Separate sitting room with log-burner Downstairs bathroom with shower over bath Access to fenced and stock-free meadow behind the property Off-road parking for two cars Access via private drive from the road Towels and linen provided Electricity heating and wifi included Dogs welcome 2 max for 15 supplement per dog Short walk 10 minutes from Porlock and grocery shops Porlock Weir only 1 mile Arrive from 4 pm Depart by 10 am The cottage is situated in outstanding walking country and for the more energetic there are coastal woodland and moorland walks served by a network of superb paths almost from the door Coachman s Cottage is situated between Porlock and Porlock Weir The property is set well back from the lane and is accessed via a private drive shared only with the owners property which is next door Appliances and equipment Coachman s Cottage kitchen is fitted with dishwasher washing machine fridge freezer microwave electric oven and hob Other equipment includes toaster kettle a variety of kitchen utensils cutlery crockery and glasses A television and CD player is provided in the living room plus a second television in the bedroom and wireless broadband is available throughout the property A travel cot and or high chair is available please request them when booking so we can make sure they are present for your arrival Electricity and heating Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation Coachman s Cottage is fitted with central heating throughout plus underfloor heating in the bathroom There is also a log-burner in the living room one basket of logs will be provided to get you started and additional logs can be purchased from the hardware shop in Porlock Linen and towels Bed linen duvets blankets and towels are provided for your convenience but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips Bed linen is not supplied for the cot Other provisions Small amounts of basic supplies are provided – salt pepper oil tea coffee sugar toilet rolls washing up materials etc Parking Coachman s Cottage is set alongside the main house at Broomclose and has easy parking for up to two cars Outside the property Coachman s Cottage is approached via a private drive shared with Broomclose House There is a private courtyard adjacent to the cottage and guests also have access to a stock-free and fenced meadow immediately behind the property Dogs Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement maximum of 2 A supplementary fee of 15 will be added to your invoice per dog Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time Smoking Coachman s Cottage is strictly non-smoking Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests Changeover days Coachman s Cottage is available for week-long bookings Friday to Friday Monday to Monday during the peak season and short breaks are available at other times Please ask however if you would like a short break during the peak season as it may well be possible to arrange this
