Just 20 miles south of Bristol with easy access from the M5 motorway at junction 21, Weston-Super-Mare is so easy to get to.

With great rail links you can be at the glorious sandy beach in no time.
Perfectly located for a short stay, an extended holiday, or even a quick getaway to enjoy the fresh air and scenic walks, you’ll be surprised at the variety of entertainment, cuisine, shopping and accommodation that’s on offer.
Enjoy almost two miles of beach with its flat and level promenade running alongside it and the town centre with its independent shops, cafes and bars is nestled within a few steps, perfect no steep hills.

The pier originally had a theatre, but after a fire in 1930, the replacement pavilion had a funfair instead.

Just weeks after multi-million dollar improvements had been completed in 2008, the pier caught fire.

The fire alarm alerted the alarm monitoring company in Essex who could not contact the keyholders by mobile phone and ignored the alarm.

The fire burnt from 1.35am until 6.46am when the local fire brigade was finally notified, 85 firefighters unfortunately were unable to put out the blaze.

Now at a cost 39 million a magnificent new pier has been built with modern day attractions and entertainment, theme park with rides and shows. Go-karts, dodgems, simulator rides, a laser maze and a funhouse makes this a great all-weather attraction.

The 40-metre high Wheel of Weston gives great views from the promenade.

The town also has a SeaQuarium and is popular for windsurfing and other watersports on the lovely beach.
