Brook Cottage is a two-bedroom residence at Trevose Head Lighthouse (closed to the public), which was built in 1847, electrified in 1973, and automated in 1995, but does not have a fog signal. The four cottages are located beneath a 75-foot-high promontory and are accessible by a one-mile-long private road.
There are excellent views out to sea, as well as the opportunity to see fishing boats enter and exit Padstow. On the sea side of the house, there is a shared walled grass space that is gated at the cliff edge. (It is recommended that guests do not use this place for safety reasons.) The cottage is entirely on the ground floor, but there are some inside steps.
Brook cottage is one of four semi-detached holiday homes accessible on a peninsula between the sandy beaches of Harlyn and Constantine Bays, just four miles west of Padstow, with the lighthouse in the centre. The Southwest Coast Path circles the headland before continuing on to Padstow.
Barbecues, fireworks, drones, or other remote-controlled flying equipment are not authorised.
A welcome basket is provided and one dog is welcome.
