The 2 bed property named Brook Cottage at Trevose Head Lighthouse which was built in 1847, electrified in 1973 and automated in 1995, the lighthouse does not have a fog signal. Fine views can be seen out to sea and the chance to watch fishing boats coming in and out of Padstow. To the rear, on the sea side there is a walled grass area that is shared and which is fenced at the cliff edge. (In the interest of safety, it is recommended that guests do not use this space). The cottage is all ground floor accommodation but there are internal steps inside.
Located on a headland between the sandy beaches of Harlyn and Constantine Bays, Brook cottage is one of four semi-detached holiday cottages available with the lighthouse positioned in the middle and situated just four miles west of Padstow. The Southwest Coast path runs round the headland and on towards Padstow.
Trevouse Head Lighthouse site is not open to the public and the four cottages are sheltered beneath a headland that is 75 feet above the sea level and accessed via a one-mile-long private road.
A welcome hamper is included.
