Situated on The South West Coastal Path with the famous water powered Cliff Railway linking Lynton and Lynmouth passing within a few feet of the hotel, the hotel is positioned some 150 yards over the shore below.

Situated within the Exmoor National Park, guests can enjoy horse riding, walking and cycling in the immediate area. The local area has many options from surfing to fishing to rock climbing.
